Holiday Break

Sorry we've been posting more infrequently, Christmas break is leaving us away from our computers more. To make up for it, I have two great songs for the midweek. First up is a sick dubstep remix of Florence and the Machine by Revolvr. The remix absolutely murders the original with some sick synth and of course even a little bass. I also give you Tocadisco's progressive Levels remix. Can't ever complain about more ways to listen to this song.

In Flux

On the penultimate Christmas Eve I have a really solid Flux Pavillion song for you. Short and to the point. Enjoy

Internet Connection- Flux Pavillion

Bangarang EP

Looks like Christmas came a little early this year. Skrillexs new EP dropped today and it is amazing. I thought there would be more than 7 tracks, but the ones he decided to include are great (why no Voltage?). Saus Baus might have a different selection but here are my top three tracks.

To start off I'm going to say Summit (aka Breathe) is the best song for sure. I had no idea Ellie Goulding was the person singing. I really wish Skrillex would make more electro tracks like this.

9/10

Summit (Feat. Ellie Goulding) - Skrillex

My next favorite has to be Devil's Den with Wolfgang Gartner. The hard glitch-electro sound Wolfgang brings definitaley compliments the bro-steppin.

8/10

The Devil's Den (Wolfgang Gartner) - Skrillex

Number three was really a toss up, but in the end I went with Bangarang. This song has been leaked before but it wasn't in its entirety.

Mord Fustang

Today here's Mord Fustang's recently dropped banger We Are Now Connected. Definitely going to be on repeat for a while. As a bonus, here's a song from Swedish House Mafia's DC set. Anything with REM is bound to be good.

We Are Now Connected (Original Mix)- Mord Fustang

Heart is King vs Losing My Religion vs Punk-Axwell & Ferry Corsten & REM

The Lion's Den

Here's a sick dubstep remix to one of my favorite trance tunes by Above & Beyond. Also word on the street is the new Skrillex EP is dropping tomorrow...

Doomsday

Trying to make everyone happy today by bringing two entirely different songs. First up, we have Nero's new jam Doomsday. Basically everything you would expect, hella heavy with some great synth. I highly recommend. To follow up is Dmitri Vengelis and Wyman's remix of Coldplay's Scientist. Coldplay seems to be becoming a remix favorite even though I'm not a huge fan, I'm loving the remixes. Download it for free on their Soundcloud and show some love. Enjoy.

O Romeo, Romeo

New single from big name newcomer Nicky Romero.

Toulouse (Original Mix) - Nicky Romero

Breathe Vocal Mashup

I'll work on getting a DL link asap. I have to say these vocals work really well. I'm not going to say it's better or worse than the original, but just something a lil different.

He's Back

As the weekend comes upon us I have the unexpected surprise of bringing yet another Glitchdick Remix your way. Literally the best name in all EDM. You've probably heard a lot of We Found Love remixes already but give Glitchdick a chance, if anyone deserves one he does. Great start to the weekend.

Fuck Finding Love (We Found Love) (Glitchdick Remix)-Rihanna

Devils Den

Winning combo.

Totally Tubular

It's been awhile since I posted some good progressive house tunes. Hopefully this banger will suffice for now.

Tubular (Extended Mix) - Pier Poropat

Motown

3 sick remixes of some Motown and funk classics. Superstitious sets itself up perfectly to be remixed and this Moombah remix by Goofee adds to the funk and absolutely kills it. Definitely need to download this.
I follow that up with two really solid remixes of some Motown classics. The Temptations and Ray Charles don't get remixed often but these songs prove that it can be done.

Superstition (Gooffee Remix)-Stevie Wonder

What I'd Say (Bobby C Sound TV Remix)-Ray Charles

Get Ready (TEAM BANZAI Remix)- The Temptations

Take A Deep Breathe

New Skrillex song dropped off his upcoming EP. I wish he would make more songs like this, so awesome.

Breathe - Skrillex

Enigmatic

I've got two awesome chillstep songs, prefect for studying, by a relatively underground artist known as ENiGMA. These songs are way closer to the original UK dubstep sound than they are to the modern day interpretations. The wobbles are all in the low bass and not the mids. For those who don't really like dubstep I would still give these songs a try, they really are nothing like what we call dubstep today.

Saeglopur (ENiGMA Remix) - Sigur Ros

Hide and Seek (ENiGMA Remix) - Imogen Heap

Electro City

Today I've got three sick Electro/Hard-Electro tunes from some newcomers in the genre. To start off we have a great remix of Skrillex's progressive tune "All I Ask Of You". While I still prefer the original, this electro take on it is the best remix I've heard so far. Next we have another remix of Titanium, this time by up and comer Nicky Romero. If you felt like Alesso's remix didn't pack enough punch, you may prefer this one. Finally we have a remix by Pierce Fulton of Chuckie's "What Happens In Vegas". He definitely puts his Wolfgang-esque sound to good use.

All I Ask Of You (S Remix) - Skrillex

Titanium (Nicky Romero Remix) - David Guetta

What Happens In Vegas (Pierce Fulton Remix) - Chuckie feat. Gregor Salto

Call it What You Want

Great remix to Foster the People's Call It What You Want (they do in fact have more than 1 song). Treasure Fingers takes the funk up just enough and absolutely kills it. This is the original music video and it is trippy as hell. Enjoy.

Call It What You Want (Treasure Fingers Pre-Party Remix Radio Edit)-Foster the People

State of Trance

We haven't posted a lot of trance on this site. I would say mainly because unlike EDM and Dubstep, Trance hasn't blown up quite as much. I recently listened through AVB's re-release of "Mirage" and it really blew me away. For those who may not listen to too much Trance, give these tunes a shot. As a bonus I put in a sick drumstep song, just trying to please everyone haha.

The Real Deal

Not sure if this the full version but it is for sure the highest quality I've heard yet. Happy Friday

Levels (Skrillex Remix)-Avicii

Cazzette Tape

Cazzette's remix of "Levels", straight off of the new Levels Remixes EP, dropped a few days ago. It's mere speculation how many artists will be on the EP, set to be released later this month. Right now we have Cazzette and Skrillex, rumors have included Afrojack among others. As a bonus I've included a great trance tune from AVB off of his re-release of "Mirage".

Levels (Cazzette NYC Mode Mix) - Avicii

I Surrender (Album Version) - Armin van Burren feat Cathy Burton

Winter Wonderland

It's pretty rare to find a halfway decent holiday house track. This remix by The Dirty Tees isn't reeallllyyy a holiday track because it barely samples Sinatra, but I guess it's better than nothing. If you're playing a holiday show soon you might as well DL this track just to get some variety.

Winter Wonderland (The Dirty Tees Remix) - Frank Sinatra

How Did I Miss This...

Apparently an instrumental mix of Avicii and Eric Turners "Dancing In My Head" dropped a few weeks ago. I usually pride myself on my musical Sherlock Holmesian senses, but yeah, missed this one. Anyways if you haven't heard the song until now you're in for a real treat. Vocal mix should be coming out a year from now knowing Avicii.

Dancing In My Head (Avicii Instrumental Mix) - Avicii feat. Eric Turner

Boogie Down

Gramatik from the Pretty Lights Label is back with with a really funk song called Boogie Down. He's teamed up with Break Science who is also on the label and if this song is a good representation of them, they should take off. As a bonus, we also have a Bloody Beetroots remix of Escape by The Toxic Avenger. Enjoy

Boogie Down-Gramatik & Break Science

Escape (Bloody Beetroots Remix)- The Toxic Avenger

Wonderwall

I meant to post this a few days ago but with studying I just forgot. We've had some requests for more progressive, chill-lectro, so here's my best shot at it. Tiesto played this bootleg during his College Invasion tour and it just kills.

Bad Things

Here's a new track from Avicii's "darker" alter ego Tim Berg. Those who are a fan of his bouncy progressive house style will find this a bit heavier.

Finals

Here are two sick tracks as a bunch of finals weeks start. Hopefully when all is said and done you can have these at the pregame. Djs From Mars always makes a solid remix and this one is no exception.

Sundown

Saw this a few days back and been meaning to post it. An absolutely great remix by Lazy Rich of Sundown. So much stuff going on all at once but somehow it all works.

Sundown (Lazy Rich Remix)- Chris Lake

Not A Cloud in The Sky

For some this may be their last weekend for partying, just as finals/midterms begin to rear their ugly heads. Hopefully we'll be able to supply you with all the right tunes to live it up. Here's a good start.

Just Dance

Pretty sick track from two absolute bombs. Rebecca and Fiona make absolutely fire tracks and should gain more popularity soon over here.

Listened to this song on repeat for 3 hours while I was doing HW last night.

Lingus (Original Mix) - Oneworld

Alvin

To help keep Tuesday moving, I have two sick remixes by Alvin Risk. Now I liked Kaskade's Eyes but this is definitely more my style and Alvin makes a great remix for it. He also kills it on his remix of Steve Aoki/Rivers Cuomo's Earthquakey People. As a bonus, you also get a Dillon Francis Moombha remix of the same track. Two totally different styles but both are legit. Enjoy

Eyes (Alvin Risk Remix)-Kaskade

Earthquakey People (Alvin Risk Remix)-Steve Aoki, Rivers Cuomo

Earthquakey People (Dillon Francis Remix)-Steve Aoki, Rivers Cuomo

Phonat - Avicii

I just finished listening through Avicii's entire setlist from DC, and their are quite a few bangers that I missed on my first pass. One song that I had never heard before was Avicii's remix of "Set Me Free" by Phonat. The song combines driving synths with the oh-so-popular choppy vocals. If you haven't heard it before take a listen below.

Set Me Free (Avicii Mix) - Phonat

Dancing In November

"September" by Earth, Wind & Fire has to be one of the all time greats. The chorus is just too damn catchy. It's nice to see that somebody has finally made a passable electro remix of it. This would be a great song to add to your playlist.

Coming soon...

New Avicii - Super Glow

Avicii's latest live set from DC Super Glow was posted a few days ago. At the show he dropped a bunch of new tracks including this ID that he opened up with. Knowing him it could be awhile before we get an HQ download. The quality is still definitely passable. Enjoy.

ID (Super Glow) - Avicii & Nicky Romero

Mind Blown

Sick new track by Brown and Gammon called Blow My Mind. The name says it all I can't really add anything to that.

WE BACK (for the foreseeable future)

Thanksgiving break has killed our posting but we're back now and gonna keep going strong. Tonight I have a Noisia original, a SHM/Knife party collaboration, and a Borgore remix. The Noisia bangs hard and I've always been a big fan of Hollywood Undead and Borgore just makes it better. Enjoy

Antidote(Original Mix)-Swedish House Mafia Vs Knife Party

I Don't Wanna Die (Borgore Remix)-Hollywood Undead

Holiday Break

Sorry for the reallllyyy long absence. It was a mixture of being home for the holidays and their not being any good music. Hopefully those who went home for the holidays had a good time. To be honest their still hasn't been anything really really good that has dropped but I need to post something; so here is a dubstep remix of Pressure by Zomboy.

Starry Eyed Surprise

Brand new electro-glitch track dropped today from Zedd. Not as heavy as most of his usual stuff but I'm still really liking the glitch-pop influence as well as the vocals. I've no doubt that somebody is gonna make a huge remix of this.

Stars Come Out (Original Mix) - Zedd

Pretty Tricky

Sorry it's been so long but as my plea for forgiveness, here's the new release of Pretty Lights' It's Tricky Remix. Released live much the same way I Know the Truth was back during the summer, it's pretty damn good and does the original justice. Enjoy

Triple Play

Back from the weekend and just in time to give you some great songs to start the week. First off we have the official release of Alesso's "Titanium" remix in full 320kbs goodness. On top of that I've included a sick Project 46 remix of Avicii's "Enough is Enough", and then an electro banger featuring the voice of Nadia Ali. Have a good one.

WARNING: HIGH VOLTAGE

I would've put this with that last post but I just found it. While this may only be a radio rip it still is worth the DL. This is by far the best Skrillex song I've heard in awhile.

Voltage (RIP Edit) - Skrillex

Thankskrillex

I've got two new Skrillex tracks to take you into the weekend. The first is a dope disco-dub remix by Blende. Super funky. The next is a sick collab between Skrillex and Feed Me. Hopefully this mix of disco and dubstep will serve you right this weekend. For all those heading home for the holidays, safe travels.

Blessed

Done for the week and damn does it feel GOOD
To start off the extended weekend here are two songs that I'm really excited about. First off is a new original Bloody Beetroots track called Church of Noise. The Beetroots are one of my favorite and the actual music overshadows the pretty weird vocals during the verses. Chorus is a classic. For today, I also have a Blessed remix by Aylen. I've always loved the vocals in this song and this is overall a great remix. Happy Thursday

Hungry for Two Door

Feed Me just released a free download for his cover of Two Door Cinema Club's, "What You Know". This is not a remix people but a cover. I don't know who's singing in it but regardless this track is crazy. If you like the original don't worry, Feed Me does a great job. Next we have a house tune from the masters of piano-progression Marucs Maison & Will Dragen. They may only have one sound, but damn do they do it well.

Kili

Savoy has just been killing it lately and Kili is no exception. California Dreamin was a great remix but this is a great original. Switching gears completely, I also have a great house track by David Puentez. It sounds a LOT like Avicii but since when was that a bad thing?

Kili-Savoy

Melodrama(Original Mix)-David Puentez

Fire Away

Alesso posted a preview for his remix of David Guetta's "Titanium" yesterday, and let me be the first to say that it is amazing. Does it sound a helluva lot like "Calling"? Yes. Is that bad? No. I'll hit you up on the drop.

Titanium (Alesso Remix) - David Guetta

Just In Time For The Holidays

Sorry for the long absence, hopefully I can make it up to you with these club bangers. I am normally skeptical when an artist decides to remix one of the greatest electro songs of all time, "Strobe", but Klaypex actually did an ok job. Then we have another remix of Coldplay's "Paradise", this time by the trance king Tiesto.

Here Comes the Moom!

We're trying out something new here by posting a little more moombahton than in the past. First off here's a track called Hijo de Puta. I love the name and it's got a little Bloody Beetroots feel with the synth progressions so up it goes. As a follow up we got To the Moon by Croydon and Shice. It's no Nadastrom but I like it nonetheless

Sorry for the lack of posts. The Kid and I have been gone all weekend but here are some songs to get ready for the rest of the start of the week. First up is Avicii's Hide and Seek Remix. Great song, great remix. I also have two more Skrillex remixes for you: The Restless Remix of First of the Year and Disrupt the Scene's Weekends!!! remix. Enjoy

Le Castle Vania Release

I posted the preview for this remix a few days ago and here's a preliminary rip of it. Not quite 320 yet but it's nice to have a copy of this awesome track.

Turn It Down (Le Castle Vania Remix) - Kaskade

Tornado

To start off your Thursday I have an awesome collab from Steve Aoki and Tiesto. Hopefully these two will work together again in the future because this song kills.

Almost There...

Here is a more recent iteration of Avicii's new song. The file says 320 but it sure doesn't sound like it. Whoever put this together also added in some vocal samples and other stuff. The second verse vocals sound a little off...

edit: It seems that this is just the pixel cheese edit with not so good vocals. yeah. boo.

ID - Avicii
