Starry Night

So apparently Tiesto and some friends just started a 24/7 electronic music radio station in the states (ala BBC Radio 1 x 100). I'm not sure what the whole deal is but I'll make sure to find out. Either way here is a preview that Tiesto dropped recently, it's a live rip so the quality is a little iffy. It's nice to see him working with Wolfgang, they make a great combo.

We Own The Night - Tiesto & Wolfgang Gartner ft. Luciana

I also have a Skrillex track that is either new, or I just haven't heard it. Reggaestep is perfect for the summer so I'm really feelin' this track.

Rudeboy - Skrillex ft. Damian Marley

Minnesota?

Great Ellie Goulding remix from Minnesota. I've heard some of his stuff before but this is definitely the best. Ellie Goulding remixes always kill it.

Starry Eyed (Minnesota Remix)- Ellie Goulding

Electric Mountain

Whattup straighthits community, I've been running the facebook site for a couple months but ill be making posts now as well with great new music. For my first post, Feed Me released a new EP "Escape From Electric Mountain" a couple days ago and Its safe to say more than half of the songs are excellent. It's really a mix between dubstep and deadmau5-esque sounds. My top 4 songs off the album:

Whiskers-Feed Me

One Click Headshot-Feed Me

Trapdoor(Featuring Hadouken!)-Feed Me

Embers(Feat. Lindsey)-Feed Me

Get Ready

Musical teaser for some new Skrillex songs? I don't know but it sounds pretty amazing. It's not just dubstep if people were wondering. Actually practically no dubstep.

I am super excited.

Bolivian Bass

Here is a pretty sick dubstep tune from new electro group The Bolivian Marching Affair. The first 50 seconds of the song is dirty.

Redux (Original Mix) - The Bolivian Marching Affair

Dear Prof

To start off the day I found a great drumstep/dubstep remix of The Deans List, "Dear Professor", which is a SICK song. The remix adds heavier beats as well as some extra house and dubstep elements. Then we have another new progressive house tune from the masters Maison & Dragen.

Dear Professor (Eliminate Drumstep Remix) - The Deans List

Rio De Janeiro (Club Mix) - Maison & Dragen

Bangarang EP

Looks like Christmas came a little early this year. Skrillexs new EP dropped today and it is amazing. I thought there would be more than 7 tracks, but the ones he decided to include are great (why no Voltage?). Saus Baus might have a different selection but here are my top three tracks.

To start off I'm going to say Summit (aka Breathe) is the best song for sure. I had no idea Ellie Goulding was the person singing. I really wish Skrillex would make more electro tracks like this.

9/10

Summit (Feat. Ellie Goulding) - Skrillex

My next favorite has to be Devil's Den with Wolfgang Gartner. The hard glitch-electro sound Wolfgang brings definitaley compliments the bro-steppin.

8/10

The Devil's Den (Wolfgang Gartner) - Skrillex

Number three was really a toss up, but in the end I went with Bangarang. This song has been leaked before but it wasn't in its entirety.

8/10

Bangarang (Feat. Sirah) - Skrillex

The Lion's Den

Here's a sick dubstep remix to one of my favorite trance tunes by Above & Beyond. Also word on the street is the new Skrillex EP is dropping tomorrow...

You Got To Go (Seven Lions Dubstep Remix) - Above & Beyond

Breathe Vocal Mashup

I'll work on getting a DL link asap. I have to say these vocals work really well. I'm not going to say it's better or worse than the original, but just something a lil different.

Devils Den

Winning combo.

Enigmatic

I've got two awesome chillstep songs, prefect for studying, by a relatively underground artist known as ENiGMA. These songs are way closer to the original UK dubstep sound than they are to the modern day interpretations. The wobbles are all in the low bass and not the mids. For those who don't really like dubstep I would still give these songs a try, they really are nothing like what we call dubstep today.

Saeglopur (ENiGMA Remix) - Sigur Ros

Hide and Seek (ENiGMA Remix) - Imogen Heap

State of Trance

We haven't posted a lot of trance on this site. I would say mainly because unlike EDM and Dubstep, Trance hasn't blown up quite as much. I recently listened through AVB's re-release of "Mirage" and it really blew me away. For those who may not listen to too much Trance, give these tunes a shot. As a bonus I put in a sick drumstep song, just trying to please everyone haha.

Breathe In Deep feat. Fiora - Armin van Buuren

Youtopia feat. Adam Young (Michael Woods Remix) - Armin Van Buuren

Take Me Where I Wanna Go Feat. VanVelzen - Armin van Buuren

U Can't Fix (Figure Drumstep Remix) - FIGURE

It Was Bound To Happen

This is going be sick when we hear an HQ version of it.

Holiday Break

Sorry for the reallllyyy long absence. It was a mixture of being home for the holidays and their not being any good music. Hopefully those who went home for the holidays had a good time. To be honest their still hasn't been anything really really good that has dropped but I need to post something; so here is a dubstep remix of Pressure by Zomboy.

Pressure (Zomboy Remix) - Starkillers & Alex Kenji feat. Nadia Ali

WARNING: HIGH VOLTAGE

I would've put this with that last post but I just found it. While this may only be a radio rip it still is worth the DL. This is by far the best Skrillex song I've heard in awhile.

Voltage (RIP Edit) - Skrillex

Docta Docta Give Me The News

Sick tune off of 12th Planet's newest EP remixed by Doctor P.

Reasons (Doctor P Remix) - 12th Planet

Here's Johnny!

To help promote their Halloween 2011 tour, Swedish duo Cazzette dropped this filthy new hard-electro/dubstep track sampling "The Shining". If you're looking for some new tunes for a Halloween party, look no further.

The Shining (Original Halloween Mix) - Cazzette

Zeds Dead

New Zeds Dead dropped today, and it is heavy. I'm a big fan of the Reggae-Dubstep collabs that have been poppin up all over the place. Have a good Friday.

Undah Yuh Skirt (Original Mix) - Zeds Dead

Syndicate

New track by Skrillex for the EA game "Syndicate". First Mortal Kombat, now this? Video games seem to have the right idea about what type of music they should use.

Syndicate - Skrillex

VISION

Another dawn, another day.

Today for your listening pleasure we have a new tune from dubstep remix kings Noisia. This time though it's an original work of theirs that I'm posting. It's a great song so make sure to give it a listen. Noisia is "Vision" upside down and backwards if you didn't already know.

Tommy's Theme (Original Mix) - Noisia
