Some Lights
I have some always chill Pretty Lights to start off the summer here. Both Hot Like Dimes and I Can See It In Your face have the standard Pretty Lights feel everyone's come to expect from him. The radio hit Not Over You also got a major overhaul in the Leventina Club Bootleg and is dope.

Power Mashups
Bringing in some power mashups and remixes to get the weekend going. Aylen starts it off with great combo of Tinie Tempah vocals over some SMH with Miami Greyhound Came. Haven't heard much from break science but this is a sweet mashup of Florence and Pharcyde. Saving the best for last is a dance banger remix of everyone's (least) favorite song, Call Me Maybe. Enjoy the weekend.

Helix Remix
A duo called Lazerdisk Party Sex made a remix to one of Justice's earlier tracks "Helix," but don't let the name fool you these guys produced a great tune. They kept the same Justice feeling of the song while adding their own Lazerdisk sound.

Project Veldt
Project 46 just put out a sweet bootleg of "The Veldt". I wouldn't say it's better, just different. They took a mellow progressive house tune and turned into more of a club banger.

Coyote Rae Jepsen
If you like your music covered in sugar and dipped in candy then you'll love this Coyote Kisses remix of "Call Me Maybe". If you don't, avoid it because it is SO poppy. I would compare it to a slightly harder Owl City. Also got a new Pryda track. It's his usual prog-house goodness.

4,3,2,1 Go Collab
The theme today is collabs from some of the biggest names around. Laidback Luke just came out with a sick track featuring Chuckie and Martin Solveig. That's a lot of fire on one track and they don't disappoint. A little back Tiesto and Hardwell combined to make an epic remix of The Naked and Famous' Young Blood. Breathes new life into the song. Pretty Lights has also released a new track and it's gold just like always. Solid beat that you can sit and just chill to.

It's Been Awhile
Yeah. Sorry about not posting for the last few weeks. All I can say is things got crazy with finals and the end of the year so I was busy to say the least. But the good news is it's summer! So now we can all relax (unless you still have finals...good luck!) and chill out to some new EDM. So sorry again for being MIA, but I'm back.
So in new progressive house news here are two new awesome tracks from two of my favorites.

Fun.

Avicii's Epic Hangover
Kap Slapp just released the bootleg to his newest mashup "Aviici's Epic Hangover" which can be heard on his hour long Spring Break Mix, along with many other tracks which are soon to be released in the upcoming weeks. This one combines:
1) Sunshine - Avicii & David Guetta
2) Hangover - Taio Cruz
3) Kick Out The Epic Motherf**er - Dada Life
4) Levels - Avicii
5) Levels (Hardwell Bootleg)
It works out nicely.

Faustix and Imanos dropped an absolutely banger of a remix of Dragonette's Let It Go. I liked Laidback Luke's version but this is definitely more my style and a must DL. I also have a throwback Porter Robinson remix of Seek Bromance. Came up on shuffle and figured I'd repost it.

Slap Me Maybe
This is about a week old, but if you havn't seen yet Kap Slap released a new mix right in time before the release of his upcoming new mixtape. An interesting pair of tracks that work nicely. I also have the full version of Skrillex's "Make It Bun Dem," he recorded with Damien Marley that The Kid posted awhile ago under the name "Rudeboy."

The Veldt
Yes. It is finally here. I can't wait until the full HQ song is released. This is officially my second favorite Deadmau5 song, right behind Strobe (or course).
All You
Got a track here from The Cataracs featuring Waka Flocka and...Kaskade?? Yeah a little different then their usual stuff but this track actually works pretty well. The beat is epic and the chorus is good too with the Kaskade sample. Damn do I HATE Waka and his awful yelling in the back. Hopefully they will release another version without him.

Some Mash
Got some solid new mash-ups from the standard big names for your humpday. Chuckie bootlegged Niggas In Paris (can I write that?) with some classic Benny Benassi and the result is fire. Being a huge fan of both songs, I'm happy. Next the ever epic Jane Doze have taken Call Me, Maybe and hit it with some Skrillex and Jessie J. Probably not what everyone's looking for but it's a solid pop mashup. White Panda has also just released something off their new EP that mixes Big Sean with Kaskade. Pretty solid combo

So Wolfgang Gartner's new single was played on Henry John Morgan’s podcast the other day and we have a tasty HQ rip. On my first play through the first thing I thought was, this is not Wolfgang. It sounds A LOT like Alesso, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I can see that Wolfgang is quasi following in the footsteps of Porter and going a bit more mainstream. I'm not hating though, I can dig it.

Where Have We Been?
We've been really flakey posting lately but are back and should be posting much more frequently in the time to come. We have these tracks to get you through the rest of your weekend. Hardwell kills it with his mix of Where Have You Been and Nicky Romero's original is solid as always. Enjoy

More Girls Gone Wild
A few days back we posted Avicii's remix of Girls Gone Wild and today we have Dada Life's significantly different (and better in my opinion) turn at it. I also have Kaskade's remix of the Usher song Climax. I'm not a huge fan of the original but have to say that this is actually pretty good.

The full release of Porter's new hit "Language" dropped today. Hopefully this high quality soundcloud player will suffice until I can get a link up. For those of you who have yet to listen to it, let me just say that this is the best electro track I've heard in the past few months.

Call Me Levels
Here's what could be (but most likely won't be) the last remix of Levels we ever post. Call Me Maybe is clearly the hot song right now and some enterprising young DJ named Monarch mashed up last years hot song with this years. Surprisingly, it actually works pretty well and is equally as catchy as either of them individually. Give this guy's SoundCloud some love

The Frederick's Stars
I have 2 songs here that are on the opposites ends of the electronic music spectrum. Up first I have a big room house track from a German producer by the name of Jerome. I really like the breakdown after the chorus with the drums, that loop is really something. It is definitely sending out happy vibes and right in time for summer. Next, I also have a track from a producer whose been in the game for a couple year but has just been producing tracks in the Mau5trap label under the name "The Frederick." Also known as Frederik Olufsen, his newest track Delirium sounds like something straight out of The Matrix. The constant build up is really cool and unique, and I am also enjoying the glitch-sound he has going on.

Girl Gone Wild
If you missed Avicii's set at UMF 2012 I feel bad for you son. While I wasn't there myself, the whole thing was live streamed via youtube and I could feel the greatness right through my speakers. He definitely had one of the best performances out of everyone there. On top of the usual Tim Berg tracks we all know and love, he dropped a new single with Madonna titled Girl Gone Wild. I'm really feeling this track right now, and can't wait to see him live in a couple weeks. I put a youtube link to an audio rip of his set at UMF that you should definitely take a listen to.

Culmination or Something
I have a collaboration here from Russian producer's Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa. I love the dramatic feel their track "Apogee" has, and I think their synth chords are just too catchy. This tune has already been gathering up a lot of attention from big names like Steve Angello, Armin van Buuren, and Dimitri Vegas.

Mau5hax
What happens when you put Deadmau5, Steve Duda, The Frederik, Feed Me, Kill The Noise, Moguai, Foreign Beggars, Jim Stout, Heat Maxwell, and 5 up-and-coming producers all in a room together for 11 hours? Mau5hax is what you get, and it is interesting to say the least. Both of these tracks have really unique and original sounds to them, and it's amazing to think that these were both made in just 11 hours. You can see bits of each producer in the tracks as well, especially Feed Me in "Fractals". I'm not huge on the heavy dub in "Titty Sprinkles," but maybe that's just me. Either way it's pretty cool to see what these guys could come up with, and free to DL as well. I had them both converted to 320 kbps Mp3 from WAV so you wouldn't have to.

Welcome To The Future
Mord Fustang dropped 4 new tracks off of the "Welcome To The Future" EP a week ago that all will be on repeat for me for the next week. All of them keep that classic Mord synth and style but spice it up in different ways. The standouts to me were Windwalker and The Majestic which I put for download below. Windwalker probably stands out as the best but I love the "funk" feel of The Majestic.

Out On the Town
Madeon has to be my favorite producer right now, everything he puts out is awesome to say the least. There's no exception to his remix of Martin Solveig's "The Night Out." It keeps his sound with uplifting synths, which just go greatly with the vocals on this track. Ill get a DL link up after the release in the near future.

Starry Night
So apparently Tiesto and some friends just started a 24/7 electronic music radio station in the states (ala BBC Radio 1 x 100). I'm not sure what the whole deal is but I'll make sure to find out. Either way here is a preview that Tiesto dropped recently, it's a live rip so the quality is a little iffy. It's nice to see him working with Wolfgang, they make a great combo.

I also have a Skrillex track that is either new, or I just haven't heard it. Reggaestep is perfect for the summer so I'm really feelin' this track.

Double-Barreled
Zedd's newest single "Shotgun," which is rocking a HEAVY bass. Most characteristic though is probably the head-bobbing drum which he rolls out in this track. I will say, however, that the beat is similar to most of his other tracks. Then again we can't rush him on any new sounds considering he's still relatively fresh to the game.

Porter Robinson gave us a peek at his new track "Language" during his 1 hour set on BBC radio a couple months ago. Now, we have the preview and I honestly can't wait for this track. Its a lot more mellow and uplifting than his usual stuff and it is pure greatness. Soon we will be out in the sun blasting this track and it couldn't fit better. Look out for it April 10th!
Pete Tong Previews
With Ultra going on this weekend a lot of big names are dropping new tunes. For those of us who are unable to attend at least we have Pete Tong. Here are two new tracks that he dropped on his Radio 1 essential mix. The Alesso vocal mix is sick, as for the Avicii track...ehhhhhh.

Raining Love
I've got some older tracks that have just now been remixed (mashed-up). When I say older I mean a few weeks to a few months, so not that old. To start off we have a new mash-up by electro producer Kap Slap. For this song he relies heavily on Skrillex's "Breakin' A Sweat". Next we have the first Seven Lions remix I've heard in awhile. The melodic dubstep fits in perfectly with Florence's groove. Finally we have a sweet, more upbeat, remix of Adam K and Kaskade's "Raining". Enjoy Folks.

So these are both a little older but in my hopes that indie rock and electro eventually combine into a super genre I have two remixes of Gotye's Somebody I Used to Know. Tiesto's is up top and is a definitely worth a listen; I'll work on getting a DL for it. Also have a sick remix by Jakob Liedholm that might even be better.

Mord and Mau5
Mord Fustang just released a new single that came packaged with multiple remixes. After listening to them all I have to say that original is by far and away the best. It also seems that the guy who recorded vocals over Deadmau5's preview for "The Veldt" has just signed a deal to work with him on it. Talk about lucky break! Pixels N' Cheese
More Pixel Cheese! He's been rising up since his "Vibe of Summer" track which was actually one of our first posts on the site. His remixes of popular songs like NERVO's "Irresistible," which is one of my favorites from him, gathered enough attention from fans and the twins themselves that he has finally been signed by Ultra Records and released his first official single "Elva". It is definitely the beginning of hopefully many more greats, as this song is bumpin' with an awesome kick drum and synth.

Fun. That is All
Another song that's been blowing up the radio and an electro remix of it to enjoy. Alvin Risk definitely does a good job of improving the song without completely changing it.
So Fly
Nicki Minaj has been blowing up the radio with Starships lately so I set off to find any good remix I could. I have three for you here that are slightly different styles but are all pretty solid. DalePlay is the best by far with a drop that actually fits with the song; overall just a banger. Justin Sane's is a sick funk remix that I'm quite a fan of as well and the F3nked Party Anthem Bootleg is a great Dance track. I'm here to give variety so take your pic

More Love
So saw Aylen's sick moombah remix of Somebody to Love right before spring break but forgot to post it. Had it on repeat the whole time. Aylen may literally be the only thing to ever come from Jersey that I like. I also rediscovered Porter Robinson's We No Speak Americano remix and thought I'd remind everyone how good it is. Porter Robinson is nuts and as usual the drop is great (skip to :59 for the actual song, starting).

Just got back from an awesome Spring Break and I'm ready to bring the music. For my first track back I'd like to post a new remix from prog-houser Jacques Lu Cont; you might remember the awesome remix he did of The Killers "Mr.Brightside". He's back again and this time focusing on something a bit more mainstream. His Thin White Duke remix for Katy Perry's "Part Of Me" definitely gives it a much more dance friendly vibe. LET'S GOOO
Calvin Harris remixed his own new song Let's Go, but basically just took out the annoying Ne-Yo vocals, turning it into an awesome house tune. He's becoming big on the radio with Feel So Close and I'm sure it won't be long before the original to this starts popping up everywhere. Grab this one just in time for this weekends festivities.
