Bringing in some power mashups and remixes to get the weekend going. Aylen starts it off with great combo of Tinie Tempah vocals over some SMH with Miami Greyhound Came. Haven't heard much from break science but this is a sweet mashup of Florence and Pharcyde. Saving the best for last is a dance banger remix of everyone's (least) favorite song, Call Me Maybe. Enjoy the weekend.

HashtagWHAT?

Here we have some more Moombah takes on some old favorites courtesy of Aylen. Hoodie Allen doesn't often show up here but #whitegirlproblems is hilarious and Aylen gives it a solid dancing feel. I also have his remix of Distantt's Infinity.
To wrap it up, DJ D.Veloped has mashed I.D.G.F.A.O.S. and it works pretty damn well I'd say. Enjoy

More Love

So saw Aylen's sick moombah remix of Somebody to Love right before spring break but forgot to post it. Had it on repeat the whole time. Aylen may literally be the only thing to ever come from Jersey that I like. I also rediscovered Porter Robinson's We No Speak Americano remix and thought I'd remind everyone how good it is. Porter Robinson is nuts and as usual the drop is great (skip to :59 for the actual song, starting).

Blessed
Done for the week and damn does it feel GOOD
To start off the extended weekend here are two songs that I'm really excited about. First off is a new original Bloody Beetroots track called Church of Noise. The Beetroots are one of my favorite and the actual music overshadows the pretty weird vocals during the verses. Chorus is a classic. For today, I also have a Blessed remix by Aylen. I've always loved the vocals in this song and this is overall a great remix. Happy Thursday

Final Countdown
Can't believe July's almost over. Damn that went fast. Well as we look towards the weeks ahead, here are a few tracks that you'll be bumpin for the rest of the summer.
Let me guess your first thought was, really? A dubstep remix for one of the chillest songs ever? If you thought that'd you would be wrong my friend. I too expected Feed Me to throw in some huge bass whomps. Instead we're left with something much better.
Melancholy Hill (Feed Me Remix) - Gorillaz
Definition of progressive house. That is all.
Ticket To The Sky (Original Mix) - Fadi
A pretty solid remix for a relative new comer to the scene. It certainly does not trump the original but it definitely gives it a harder, electro vibe which I'm really diggin.

DutchStep

Happy Monday. Starting off the week with 2 sick (but pretty old) remixes of All of the Lights. First we have the "DutchStep" remix by Aylen. Straight dance track that'd be a great start to any DP. There's also the Rex Riot dubstep remix. Starts off a little funky but by the end it's a really solid remix.
