With Ultra going on this weekend a lot of big names are dropping new tunes. For those of us who are unable to attend at least we have Pete Tong. Here are two new tracks that he dropped on his Radio 1 essential mix. The Alesso vocal mix is sick, as for the Avicii track...ehhhhhh.

Wow. Let me just preface by saying it always important in life to keep an open mind. When I first heard about what those crazy Brits did I was skeptical. But after listening, I am a believer. A few days ago the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra teamed up with Nero to present his "Symphony 2808" which he wrote specifically for the performance. They streamed the show live over the internet and on the radio and although I wasn't lucky enough to hear it live I do have an mp3 from the show. Yes, it is 20 minutes long. Deal with it. If you have an appreciation for music in general then you will enjoy this unlikely combination that creates a truly epic sound-scape. Listen to the whole thing, you'll be happy you did.
