Falling Up & Other Oddities

Dillon Francis dropped a new EP about a week ago or so and some of the track are straight fire. If you are a fan of his electro-dub sound than you will love these two tracks I picked up. "Falling Up" may have one of the sickest grooves I have ever heard in an electro song. I can't really describe what type of mood it puts you in but it is such a dirty beat. I love the intro to "Now Hear This" which is the main reason why I put the song in. The beat drop around the 1:25 mark is substantial to say the least, but I still love the progressive house-ish lead he works into it.

Thankskrillex

I've got two new Skrillex tracks to take you into the weekend. The first is a dope disco-dub remix by Blende. Super funky. The next is a sick collab between Skrillex and Feed Me. Hopefully this mix of disco and dubstep will serve you right this weekend. For all those heading home for the holidays, safe travels.

Drop Dead (Blende Remix) - Skrillex

Loud Noises - Skrillex & Feed Me

Hungry for Two Door

Feed Me just released a free download for his cover of Two Door Cinema Club's, "What You Know". This is not a remix people but a cover. I don't know who's singing in it but regardless this track is crazy. If you like the original don't worry, Feed Me does a great job. Next we have a house tune from the masters of piano-progression Marucs Maison & Will Dragen. They may only have one sound, but damn do they do it well.

Scary Moombahton

Finally a good Moombahton remix of "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" courtesy of TMH.

Are You Ready?

Last year Nero dropped what I still believe is one of the best dubstep tracks ever. On my list it would definitely sit at number one. Steve Angello recently posted a new remix he did for the song "Me and You" on his soundcloud. The preview was full length so I decided to post the mp3 here. If you haven't heard the original make sure to check it out below.

La Remix

I've got a pair of remixes for you today. First one is a a new remix from Cat Skillz for (Tom Hangs) Avicii's "Blessed". Next we have a dope Dubstep remix for Nero's "Crush On You".

Crush On You (KillSonik Remix) - Nero

Bangarang

New Skirllex just dropped today, sweetness. The extended edit probably just means that the original preview Skrillex put up was only 2 minutes, and then PockX just edited the song to repeat itself. It sounds pretty smooth though, you can't really tell.

SPITFIRE

Wow. Porter Robinson's new EP "Spitfire" dropped today and it is amazing. The Hard-Electro is at full form throughout the whole CD and every track brings something new. Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Unison (Original Mix) - Porter Robinson

Vandalism (Original Mix) - Porter Robinson feat. Amba Shepherd

The Seconds (Original Mix) - Porter Robinson feat. Jano

A little bit harder than the original.

Skrillex Funkt-Out

New Skrillex Woot!

With this latest remix Skrillex tones back the intensity of the dub to give us a very dutch-dub-house, funky sound. I for one welcome this nice change. I'm all for the heavy hitting dub songs, but it's nice to mix it up. This is definitely gonna be on repeat the next few days.

Princes and Queens

In honor of Freddie Mercury's 65th birthday a lot of companies and brands have been coming out with tributes. For example Google had that little doodle thing on it's homepage for the whole day. If you're Gramatik, you make a DIRTY remix of Queens "Princes Of The Universe".

Next song is a powerful Euro-house anthem. Diggin' the vocals.

Around The World (DJ Amor Remix) - Mike Candy feat. David Deen

All I Ask Of You

Just stumbled upon a crazy dubstep remix of Skrillex's "All I Ask Of You". Be warned it is VERY HEAVY. Happy Friday y'all.

All I Ask Of You (Catalyst Dubstep Remix) - Skrillex

Glitchdick...?

Kids these days with their crazy producer names. Regardless, this track is nuts. I would classify this as hard-electro/dubsteb although it is officialy called drumstep, whatever that is. Vocals are great, drop is sick, overall great tune. Enjoy.

Here Tonight (Christian The Lion ft. Glitchdick Remix) - Darren Styles

Not So Aerodynamic

Insane dubsteb remix of Daft Punk's "Aerodynamic".

Funky Nero

I'm lovin the sound of Nero's newest single off their recently released album "Welcome Reality". The Dubsteb-electro-funky tune makes it sound like the child of Skrillex and Madeon. Hopefully y'all enjoy it as much as I do. Cheers.
